Iowa 13th Infantry Regiment Monument
The Iowa 13th, commanded by Col. Marcellus Crocker, held a variety of positions in the center of the Union line on April 6, 1862. Of 760 men, there were 40 killed and mortally wounded, 126 wounded and 5 missing. The monument was dedicated November 22, 1906. It is set back on the left after passing Tour Stop #4.
